About

My name is Ben Hazarian, graduate from UCSD (B.S. Cognitive Science-Design and Interaction). I found myself in this position after exploring a math and business major at San Jose State for three years and then making the decision to explore a passion of the brain and psychology. I took a year and went to a local community college to take psychology classes before applying and arriving at UCSD. This unique background has allowed me to gain experience in many different fields, which provides me the ability to asses problems with an interesting and critical perspective.

On a personal note, I love to interact with people. Playing soccer for 18 years at a competitive level gives me a competitive edge, to my normally goofy attitude. Making people laugh, exploring creative ideas, and always keeping things light has always been my way. Knowing the times to be serious and the times to enjoy is essential to success.

I thrive in making the mundane fun! This might be because of my upbringing with a family who quotes Seinfeld on a daily basis, but if that show proves anything it’s that even a “show about nothing” can be amazing.
